Spiders and Scorpions

We try to keep in stock a good selection of spiders and scorpions from the typical pet tarantula like the Chile Rose (grammostola rosea) to the deadly non pet species like the Death stalker scorpion.

We keep in stock both terrestrial and arboreal species plus all the equipment to keep them succesfully. If what you are looking for is not in stock we will be able to source it for you within a few days.

This is a very different story from just a few years ago myself being the biggest arachnophobe ever. Spiders were never going to be a part of our business until I spent a little time with a Chile Rose, I then realised how fascinating these creatures were, unlike anything we had ever kept before.

I once did try to overcome my fear of spiders when I smuggled a huge female Mexican red knee into the house and hid it under my bed, not being able to lie or keep a secret I told my mother who promptly marched me back to the shop to return it. Telling her it was just like a hamster but with twice as many legs just did not work
